Boat Show Features

Meet Abby Sunderland

 |
Teen sailor Abby Sunderland, who attempted last year to become the youngest person to solo-circumnavigate the globe, will be at the show from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Sunderland’s 2010 journey ended in the Indian Ocean when, after five months and 12,500 miles, a rogue wave demisted and capsized her boat.
Those who stop by her booth at the show will be able to purchase Abby’s new book “Unsinkable,” pose for photos, and hear about her two days spent lost at sea.
